About:
Minakshi’s works are based on psychological and physical states. Her experiences are conceptualized and increasingly serialized through a number of images. The original power of these works resides precisely in the span between inwardness and their objectivizing externalization. No longer is the emphasis on composition but on textures. The materiality of the objects in “Two worlds” is juxtaposed against a dream worlds’. In “vision” the window opens on to a dream landscape. The lost staircase explores the memories of childhood.
